Well this is one of the most pointless re-releases ever in my opinion.

 

I'm really not keen on Beautiful Liar. I've only heard that and World Wide Woman off the deluxe edition, but I think World Wide Woman would make a great next single for sure. :D

For sure it would, but the re-release isnt pointless; B'Day already sold 4million worldwide and this could push that up to a good 6...

I bought this yesterday, I'd like to see either Kitty Kat, Freakum Dress, and Green Light as the new single..they are catchy. I think they should have released it like this in the first place, I just got the regular version of the album at Christmas. :( This one is better..at least I got it at a good price. :) Funny that Flaws and All was mentioned because I don't care for that song or video, sadly.

Yeah its quite a drab song I know, but video brings it back up for me. Dont think it will ever become a single :( Maybe Green Light next?

I bought the DVD yesterday along with the deluxe edition CD and I like the videos for Kitty Kat, Green Light, and Freakum Dress the most..I really dislike the videos for Flaws and All and Still In Love, they are just too plain and boring for me.

Can someone explain why all the tracks have videos? :huh:

shes releasing a deluxe album with extra songs (beautiful liar, flaws and all etc) and heaps of video clips!

i think its to boost album sales :)

It was a fairly mixed bag. Good songs were Irreplacable, Deja Vu, Kitty Kat, Freakum Dress, Upgrade U, Green Light & Resentment. Get Me Bodied is total trash and Ring The Alarm is awful, however Freemasons' mix is amazing so that would have been better to put on, instead.

All the songs on B'Day originally were class. But they were all very upbeat and percussion based - none of the slick RnB from her first album, which is what many people critised it for and it's basically what they've added with the Rerelease. I'm really looking forward to the re release.

People did slate the album last time due to the lack of upbeat tracks as there were loads of mid-tempo stuff now its the oppisite!!

 

I think the original B'day album was amazing and way surpasses Dangerously In Love!

Looking forward to hearing the new tracks though!!

Doubt it on Hits Daily Double it is estimated to only sell around 110k this week,whch isnt that impressive considering it has only sold around 2.5 million in the US so far and she has made a video for each song :lol:

I think in America the DVD with all the videos is being sold separately to the CD so sales for that arent contributing to B'Day's sales, instead for the re-release, there is a 2nd CD with some spanish songs and remixes which is nowhere near as appealing for fans to purchase (altho for Europe the DVD comes with the CD which I cant wait for :cheer: )

It should comfortably get 140/150k by the end of the week. B'Day has done pretty well for Bee so far, cant see it stopping yet!

I think it's appealing to purchase, but they should have included the DVD of videos with the package instead of making us buy the DVD separately. :P
