Next Tuesday the 26th of February, RTVA, the national Andorran television will officially present the 2008 Andorran Eurovision entry Casanova along with the official videoclip, at 22hrs CET at Buda Espai Andorra. The media and and the press has been invited to view the premiere of the Andorran entry.The honour of representing Andorra has fallen upon the famous Spanish singer Gisela who shot to fame in Spain back in 2001 thanks to her participation in Operacion Triunfo.

 

Spanish Eurovision website todoeurovision.com reports that the official premiere of the Andorran song and videoclip won't be televised. Gisela enjoys both fame and recognition on the Spanish music scene since her Operacion Triunfo days. She has become a well known figure in the Spanish music industry thanks to her achievements: has released sevaral albums, recorded the musical scores of various Walt Disney films as well as winning the Vina del Mar Song Contest in Chile. She was the backing vocal to Rosa at the 2002 Eurovision Song Contest in Tallinn.

 

The Andorran entry has been composed by Jordi Cubino, the man who was behind David Bisbal's Corazon Latino which narrowly lost out to Rosa's Europe's Living A Celebration in the 2002 Spanish Eurovision finals. esctoday will keep you updated with the latest information concerning the 2008 Andorran entry.

The video premiere was just for the press, and wasn't televised, so it could be a few days before it surfaces. I wouldn't get your hopes up. I'd say that 1.20 we already know is the best, and the rest will be quite repetitive.

The 1.20 version sounded really promising, but there is nothing new on the full version! It was really catchy, but when the same old thing drags on for 3 minutes it gets boring. The beat is now drowning out the melody as well.

 

I can't see this qualifying for the final any more.

I think the full version's quite an improvement tbh. ^_^ I like how the verses float into each other. :heehee: Still one of my faves.

Meh. The link from the chorus into the 2nd verse is quite nice.

 

But I can't see everyday viewers in Croatia and Norway thinking "hmm that was a nice link into the 2nd verse - it gets my vote!"

 

She should have entered the minute long version...it was so catchy :P

Amazing song!!

The best of this years eurovision so far except some of the Swedish songs.
