Luminita Anghel-Let Me Try (Romania)-0 Thank you to David, Polyhex, Boyan and myself for voting Results Analysis With just 4 votes it was always going to look eccentric but this was unprecedented!!! Marie N's shock 2002 winner I Wanna proved to have a short shelf life getting 'nul points' along with runners up from 2003 and last years third place from Romania's Luminita Anghel...No other winners from this decade did too badly, Lordi being too late to enter the contest while Estonia's unpopular winner everybody scored just 10 points (from gooddelta). The top 10 starts with the surprise flop of Germany's Texas Lightning-obvioulsy much more popular with our forum users, scoring 11 points...Olsen Brothers came in at No.7 with 2002's runners up, Sahlene and Ira Losco tying in 7th and obviously both would have been more welcome winners than Marie N!!! Winners from Ruslana and Sertab place 6th and 5th respectively for Ukraine and Turkey. Antique and Jessica Garlick come joint third with 19 points for Greece and UK, our votes showing pride over Jessica Garlick-a singer with a nice ballad who didn't boast, performed well and finished with a fantastic score (some tips for the future perhaps?). Greece and particuarly Helena Paparizou, singer of Antique, show incredible popularity placing 2nd aswell with 22 points. But incredibly the winner with 23 points is Sweden's Carola with Invincible...she came 5th this year but clearly our voters think that she deserved better!!! Edited May 23, 200619 yr by gooddelta
