Yes, frustrating - and I'd never even heard of the channel.

I have heard of it but don't have access to it :( I think I might be paying a visit to my brother that evening though ;)
I checked it out and I can get it. I think my Mum can get it on freeview - but, I'll look into that properly. At least it's something. I never even knew they'd done one for 'Lord of the rings'. I'd have loved to have seen that one.
I wonder if they will have recorded some of the latter stages of the audition process or if it will be footage taken after the selections were made. Having seen D move on in leaps and bounds whilst playing in Chicago it would be great to see this performance from an even earlier stage :)
If I'd seen the 'Lord of the Rings'one, I'd have a clue. Anything will be good though and this was so unexpected.
I have such massive regrets that I don't have any footage of D from the popstars shows :( Can't believe it took him being cut to realise how much I really liked him  Until it happened though I just honestly hadn't realised. I think it is probably because he was so good I just expected him to make the band! I am making him a priority this year, and I want to see him as much as possible :)

Destiny maybe?

If he had made the band I might not have developed the interest I now have in him, so I have to agree with you on that one :)

And it wouldn't have worked - well, it didn't anyway. It'dhave been Darius and band. He's got too much charisma and talent to lose in a band

The Lord Of The Rings documentary was screened on the National Geographic channel, megham. Maybe it'll turn up in their schedules again.

I don't usually look in the tv pages. If anyone else does, can they please let me know if they see it. Instructions have been passed on to Dave while he considers what he and his Dad want to watch.

TCM- Turner Classic Movies- shows all the old Classic films. Wouldn't it be interesting if they showed the documentary on the same night as the classic film?

TCM ANNOUNCES AN EXCLUSIVE DOCUMENTARY

GONE WITH THE WIND – THE MAKING OF THE MUSICAL

Following announcements that the classic 1936 Margaret Mitchell novel and one of the most commercially successful films of all time, Gone with the Wind, is to undergo a theatre musical adaptation for the West End stage – Film Channel TCM (Turner Classic Movies) is pleased to reveal that all the behind the scenes preparation will be documented by a TCM camera crew shadowing the production with exclusive access right up until the opening night at the New London Theatre on 22nd April.

Gone with the Wind – The Making of the Musical follows one of the most exciting theatrical projects of recent years in a production led by acclaimed British director Sir Trevor Nunn. This honest and realistic documentary will see the cast and crew go through the hard work, joy and excitement that is involved in such a large and ambitious production. Other members of the cast and crew will also be talking to camera about their experience and involvement whilst viewers will also get a look into the rehearsals. TCM delves even further behind the scenes, filming the office buzz, the marketing campaign meetings and the photo shoots.

TCM VP & Channel Manager, Alan Musa said, “Gone with the Wind continues to be one of TCM’s most popular films and the stage production further emphasises its appeal to audiences today. We are thrilled to have this unique opportunity to give our viewers an insight into such a major production.”

It still makes me feel excited. I'll have seen it by then. Shame it isn't on earlier - I really don't like waiting.
