I can say we had (in Romania) more good songs like

CATALIN JOSAN - Run Away

or

Biondo - Shine (they were from Sweden and wanted to represent our country)

or

Paula Seling & Provincialii - Seven days (this is my fav)

 

and it's another song 100% romanian who was at the preselection:

Leo Iorga & Pacifica - Prea mici sunt cuvintele (this song was considered by all here not good for the Eurovision contest because he has that oldish stile ... whatever, I like it the way it is)

The music is slow, might be okay for the oldies, but not my type of music at all.

 

I'm not too good at english so that I could translate them, sorry :) and they sing in Romanian and Italian too and I can't understand Italian :)

I think the song works better as a solo act, the female just comes on too strong, this track could go any way, its ok-ish, but its not that strong in my opinion.

It's quite different, so it's hard to tell how it could go in Europe. Personally, I like it, but I'm not sure it will get the votes. It could go either way.

Yeah, it's a rather nice song indeed. There are of course a lot of countries who still have to choose, but I have a feeling that if BWO doesn't win in Sweden this might end up being my favourite.

And rightly so! The song has been on my personal chart since early December (even before they considered to enter it for ESC) - "Pe-o" a lovely song.

If it wins it will be the worst anti-climax ever...I'm certain it will qualify for the final and then it will finish about 10th/11th

I was nearly TRAUMATISED when I heard "Vorbe Care Dor" had withdrawn - for me it was going to be THE one to beat in 2008. But then the rumor circulated (which appears to be true) that 3SE were approached by the San Marino broadcaster (one of the 3SE guys has Samarinian roots) to submit the song to them (which was why they withdrew the song). It has apparently been recorded in Italian/English as "Words Can Hurt".

Can't wait for the weekend when San Marino announces their entry to find out if it's true!
