Seriously - if you don't buy - at least borrow this DVD - there are so many extras. To all those nobs on this site who said Take That didn't deserve the Best Live Act award .... well I'm glad they didn't see Take That - because their hard work would be wasted on such closed minds.

By the way - that's Katherine Jenkins' voice on the overture.

Shameless - you will so enjoy it. I haven't got round to watching the whole show yet - just the extras. I think its safe to say that when they split again .... Gary Barlow has a career as a comedian ... he is as deadpan as Jack Dee!

I watched the Extras dvd first (I'm saving the concert until Saturday night - and we're all going to watch it).

Its fantastic. There's the Journey - which is the on-the-road documentary (painful looking ice-baths, p***-takes at Howard, Howard's arse, Gary showing what a bloody comedian he is - strictly Jack Dee-esque). The picture gallery is great as it has an accoustic soundtrack of RTW going on behind it which is beautiful. Then there is the band commentary - all songs accompanied by the boys talking about it (and you see them too - all sat watching their performances - nitpicking. This itself is a brilliant extra as it is like another full-length documentary - you get them saying what bits they liked, what they would have done differently - and again - Gary being total dead-pan. When you watch it - tell me what you think about what Gary says after Howard makes his comments about IWFL.

Above all - they show just how great they are as a foursome and the magic is just the combination of those four blokes. I couldn't stand Take That the first time - no - thats a bit harsh - I just didn't consider them. Gary came across as all po-faced and serious and Robbie just irked me because I found him an attention-seeking kid (but I suppose they were all just kids really). I didn't even know the names of the other three. I only got into them when I was offered a ticket for the Ultimate Tour - the minute they performed that tangoed-up It Only Takes A Minute ... I'm afraid I was hooked. Even then I resisted - I still didn't buy anything record-wise until the release of the brilliant Patience.

Fab DVD and worth every penny!
