Well now weknow - The bazaar is definitely in and the waltz rather than the reel.

The rehearsal pics show Darius leading Jill on to the floor where couples are already waltzing and another pic of them in an old fashioned ballroom grip.

At least we'll have a little dance scene then.. It'd have been hard to miss out as so much is established then.

if they are already dancing how will they let us know that Rhett paid to dance with Scarlett...perhaps they will do a bit of both.

Will he sing during the waltz.....

I must get on with reading this book....upto now there has been lots of Rhett even if only spoken about or spotted briefly

Who knows? well, we will soon.

They have to put the wedding rings in.

I wonder why they swopped that bit around in the film. They had Melanie putting her ring in first.
That doesn't make sense...Scarlett didn't care about her's whilst Melanie did and had a greater sacrifice....hence Rhett buying it back for her

Another unnecessary change IMO is that in the book Rhett tosses his cigar case into the basket without comment but in the film he says it's on behalf of Mrs Wilkes and Mrs Hamilton

In this non-smoking in public places world what should they do about Rhett's cigars, which feature so much in the film ?

He's allowed to smole on stage - but since he doesn't, will he mime it or will they ignore the smoking.

I didn't know actors were still allowed to smoke on stage but when I think of it, there are bound to be emissions from pyrotachnics, aren't there?

...:o....not what I thought.....too much health and safety on my mind....it was piontless to me and harmful to them

....and me come to think of it

This is a lead to a site primarilly intended for students studying GWTW.

It gives character analysis etc but it also summarises the book chapter by chapter.....useful to

check instead of looking through the whole book. e.g. how often does Paul Wilson appear in

the story.

Also handy for people who do not have time to read the complete book.
