Anyone Have Heard Of The New Hihhop/Dance Group" that kinda sounds like East 17 circa 1992-1994.

But of course they're not as good as east 17 in my opinion.

During May 2004 young MC’s and DJ’s have been working hard together at Harmony to form a group which is now known as the Blackout Crew.

They have been producing and recording CD’s in the recording studio at the Harmony Media Centre and these CD’s have become very popular in Bolton. Harmony has helped these young people become good MC’s and DJ’s by tutoring them and training them in the studio.

The Blackout Crew is a group of eight young people from various areas of Bolton.

In the group are six MC’s;

Kevin Allison AKA Dowie MC, Rob Davis AKA MC Rapid, Kurtis Chadwick AKA MC Viper, Matty Fisher AKA Dubble MC, Zak Kabbani AKA MC Zak K and Jordan Cover AKA MC Cover.

The two DJ’s have progressed over the years by attending the DJ Sessions at Harmony and mentoring other aspiring DJ’s, they are known as Zak Mason AKA DJ Saha and Ashley Liptrott AKA DJ Lippy.
