Anyone catch them on their tour in the fall, their was an opening band called The Outside Royalty that was with them and they were awasome....they had this bowie meets arcade fire thing going on and I'm totally obsessed with them now....did anyone see them or know them?

well who cares about this outside royalty band, PETE AND THE PIRATES SUPPORTED TYK ON THAT TOUR!!!!!

Strange topic this - is it about Young Knives or not? Well, either way, I'm going to see them next month.

 

Ungdomskulen are the support band if anyone's keeping track of them (by the looks of it we are!)

Pete and The Pirates are a great band to! But I'm always on the look out for bands that are doing things a little bit different...a rock band that throws in a violin and cello...pretty damn cool...thats what The Outside Royalty is doing...seriously give it a listen...I would love to hear someone else's opinion on it...since their not very well known yet..I would love to get an opinion from another avid music junkie

Reckon you should change the title of the thread then - it's not clear to me. I agree with you though, even though I haven't heard The Outside Royalty yet, it's refreshing when bands introduce unexpected elements into their sound instead of sounding exactly like the Arctics, Libertines or Klaxons.
