March 4, 200817 yr Author Oh most definitely. They're a complete joke, they really are. If it was the other way round and it was Boa Morte his ban probably would've stood...
March 4, 200817 yr It's a joke I must say. I DO think Lampard should have had his appeal granted but they need to be concistant, and they've certainly not been of late.
March 4, 200817 yr I've never complained about Aliadiere's ban, he was silly, but the fact he had a game added, and Mascherano got off scott free, plus this today, shows the protection of the big four ever so clearly. Well, d'uh.
March 6, 200817 yr I've actually looked this up - it was overturned after the referee admitted that it shouldn't have been a red card. (Oh, and he [Lampard] was booked for diving during last night's game. He went down in the penalty box and wasn't awarded a penalty, which meant that he dived. The referee actually had the balls to book someone for diving - simulation is, of course, a bookable offence. He then said he shouldn't have been booked, saying he's not a diver. Putting that aside, the ref obviously thought he was.)
March 6, 200817 yr Well i was watching last night and Lampard didn't dive though it wasn't a penalty either.
