They don't need a broom - they just have to sound a big enough fanfare and turn all their spotlights on to the same few chosen ones plus the 'brand new" fresh out of the box babeand hey presto.they don't have any room for D or anybody else - oh what a shame.

This in a different field. I think that makes a huge difference.

I dont think they care if its odd or noticeable, its noticeble now, we have long threads about Oliver which isnt even in the pipeline theatre wise, I think baytree is right.

I hope D does as well as we know he can, then no-one could snipe at him. The show, given it's storyline and the people involved, should be an automatic success. Fingers crossed that there aren't any hitches.

Oliver is like A Christamas Carol, I've seen it done so often, I get confused between versions.

 

Jack Wild is still my favourite Dodger and Alex Guinness and Ron Moody are jointly my favourite Fagins.

 

My least favourite Fagin was Timothy Spall in the one I saw recently although I do rate Timothy Spall as an actor.

 

I can't remember anyone at all from the Roman Polanski one I saw a couple of years ago.

yup..now that fagin sort of facial hair is a look I dont want to see darius sproting! I loved Oliver Reed and his dog!..that version was the best in my eyes.

Dane wouldn't get a part. He's an out and out wimp. If anyone shouts, he's sick. It's a good job we're an even tempered family.

Oliver Reed was a great actor. Alcohol ruins so many.

Dane doesn't even neeed the alcahol - he's usless at doing what he's told anyway. He doesn't even bark much.

At least a couple of papers have printed one of the Olivier pics of D.

She does - so does getting the part of Rhett Butler - he just couldn't believe it. We could though, so that's OK.

Wos have a goss from the night page. No goss about Darius just that because the presenters came on in pairs there were two Little and Large combinations - Darius and Ryan Molloy ( Frankie Valli in Jersay Boys) and Jeff Goldblum and Barbara Windsor.

 

 

 

Would it not have been more sensible to put Ryan with Barbara and Jeff and Darius on stage together?
