It's the one that seems clearer to me although tbh I forget I've gotone and just use the channel list and information button on Sky.

 

I only noticed this week that they had a bit down the side of one page saying who were the guests on Paul O'Grady etc. Maybe we'll get forewarning from there if Darius is going to be onand when.

It doesn't always work. By the time we know, there are no tickets left anyway.

I meant just for catching Darius if/when he's on TV to promote GWTW.

I like to see him anyway.

Yes Baytree, I have been buying it. Had a quick look today, nothing. however there is a two page article on marti pellow and how he is touring in the witches of eastwick in april, not in the westend. I have feelings that this is going to be another stitchup for D mediawise. Jill paice and now marti less than a week to go especially when she is quoted as unknown actress and is american. They so far have continued in the same vein and I feel that credit wont be given where credit is due.

I think the media are sitting on the fence awaiting the previews.

 

 

I'd sit on any fence to get to the previews. For once I agree with the media.

I was meaning that they will pick out what they want to pick out regardless.

I know, Preston. But all we can do is laugh and wait.

I think they're wary of commenting either way because to them Darius Danesh as an actor/singer is an unknown quantity.

 

Neither section of the media bothered to see how Darius did on either of the 2 previous occasions he was in the West End.

 

There was no Press Night when Darius joined Chicago. IMHO the broadsheets don't particularly rate Chicago because of what they term novelty casting and he doesn't sound like a West End singer on any of his singles. Perhaps they suspect he got the part of Rhett because he was a 'name' but have a nagging doubt that Sir Trevor would cast on that basis.

 

However they can't risk being openly sceptical in case Darius turns out to be great.

 

The gutter press are more or less covering their eyes and sticking their fingers in their ears pretending it isn't happening,

Mitchell. No names other than those two. Someone I met whilst walking the dog was telling me about the Times peice - about Jill and mentioning Darius. He seemed likely to be going to see it now he knows it's on.
