Posted February 27, 200817 yr wtf? didn't their label JUST release one less than a year ago? http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/51d6xrTVBAL._SS500_.jpg comes out March 24th, 2008.
February 28, 200817 yr yup. the label re-released 'now & forever' last year too, aswell as bringing out 'crazysexyhits'.
February 28, 200817 yr They released one like...2 months ago. <_< it's their old record label trying to make some cash, danny. i doubt t-boz or chilli even know about this - they didn't know about 'crazysexyhits' until a fan told tionne over the phone about it. she was like "for real? send me the info because i didn't know about this".
March 1, 200817 yr it's their old record label trying to make some cash, danny. i doubt t-boz or chilli even know about this - they didn't know about 'crazysexyhits' until a fan told tionne over the phone about it. she was like "for real? send me the info because i didn't know about this". Some labels just need to move on. Record labels are so weird, they waste money on pointless re-re-re-greatest hits yet they drop decent acts like Katharine McPhee, who make some money back.
March 1, 200817 yr TLC made them a lot of money over their 15 year career in the industry. But yeah...this release is pointless.
March 1, 200817 yr I love Katharine, but her album didn't even reach gold. I love TLC, but why keep on re-releasing stuff <_<
March 3, 200817 yr I love Katharine, but her album didn't even reach gold. I love TLC, but why keep on re-releasing stuff <_< They also spent virtually NO money on her promotion, and it only sold off the back of a top 30 hit. I think it has sold like 450,000 copies to date. Anyways I bought TLC's greatest hits back in like 2004...it's weird to re-release it, are they gonan promote it or something?
March 4, 200817 yr Anyways I bought TLC's greatest hits back in like 2004...it's weird to re-release it, are they gonan promote it or something? TLC aren't with their label anymore. T-Boz said "for the first time in 15 years, TLC are finally free". They didn't get along with their label at all. The only thing the label can do is advertise, I think. *Shrugs*.
March 4, 200817 yr So are they basically milking TLC for extra cash? I think that's sick, especially since one of them is dead.
March 4, 200817 yr Obviously the whole objective of the record industry is to milk artists for profits... And besides, are you against Elvis re-releases, or re-issues of classic albums? Thriller 25 for instance? And it's not like all of TLC are dead.
March 4, 200817 yr Their label is very messed up, but like Jark said - their aim is to make a profit. When Lisa passed away, they told Tionne and Chilli that they either finish '3D' or they'll release a 'GH'. So they finished that album for the fans...they wanted to capitalise off of Lisa's death too by releasing "Turntable" as the lead single. It's a dog eat dog world out there.
March 6, 200817 yr I wont be buying this, as i already have the GH. But TLC are amazing  Probably the best Girlband to grace this earth. Waterfalls really is one of the greatest songs EVER. Fooking amazing <3
