Posted February 28, 200817 yr Tickets for Carter USM's only two shows of the year go on sale tomorrow for Brixton Academy and Birmingham Academy. As revealed on Culturedeluxe a fortnight ago, Carter USM enjoyed their brief reunion at Glasgow Barrowlands and Brixton Academy so much last year that they've gone through with plans to play more shows this year despite last year's being billed as "the last ever". They've now announced two new shows in November at Birmingham and Brixton Academy. "Ok, so here is the news you have all been waiting for. We did get thousands of emails telling us that we just have to do more gigs. We didn't want to overdo it, so have decided to do just 2 gigs." read a message on their mailing list. Tickets go on sale to the public at 9am on February 29th and demand is expected to be huge once again - particularly for the Brixton Academy show which takes place on lead singer Jimbob's birthday. February 29, 200817 yr i went to the last 'ever' gigs last year. had a great time! ...will pass though. not that big a fan of the music tbh - though it is fun live!
