.....I think we need to consider changing the letter...but what to?

 

We could take the second letter and more one backwards or forwards. an a could be a z or a b, an e could be a D or a F. It would make it easier (I hope)

OK 2nd if it's a consonant and choice of before or after consonants if it's a vowel - complicated but so long as we understand it, let's give it a go.
