No - no possibility. I just found it when I was looking through the list - it's only because you said you didn't recognise anyone on the other ones. I think they tried to get him again the year after(2005).

 

They don't announce acts in advance anyway, because as someone on D said they want a mix of fans not just one group for one act you take a chance at festivals on who is going to to appear. I doubt they would have told them beforehand even if he was appearing.

I wonder how many is planning on doing. There's plenty to choose from. Would love to see him headlining at one of the smaller less publiciised ones.

This takes place on Friday 8th and Saturday 10th August at a cliff-top location overlooking Watergate Bay, at the end of a week-long beach festival built around the Ripcurl Boardmasters event on Fistral Beach.

 

The event which is one of Europe's biggest surf, skate and music festival has officially announced the first headliner which is Groove Armada who will top the bill on Friday 8th August.

 

There will be plenty more bands still to be announced but expect an eclectic line up across the two stages featuring some of the hottest up and coming bands of the moment.

 

Tickets are priced at £29.99 for Friday, £25.00 for Saturday, and £49.50 for an adult weekend ticket, kids under 16years old must be accompanied by an adult, children under 5 years old go free. Tickets are on sale now and can purchased from here.

I don't know if he'd appear but he may go as a punter as it's his neck of the woods - so to speak. And he could get a bit of R&R in at the same time. It all hinges on the timing of his album promo really doesn't it.

Like the sound of that one. :) Bit far away but if it was the only opportunity to see him this summer I think I'd travel. You're right he could just go as a punter or even join GA on stage.
