Flying Lizards were great - I loved Money, but preferred the follow-up, 'TV', and their cover of 'Sex Machine' was superb. The debut album was pretty excellent, too, I remember.
What a great soundtrack - almost makes me want to watch the show now.

nah - don't bother with the show - it's pants - full of glaring errors, year-wise, too.

oh how i HATE that!.... heartbeat did it remorselessly... often playing tracks that had yet to be created!

As bad as Ashes to Ashes is (and it is pretty much a disappointment after the sublime Life On Mars) it is still streets ahead of many dramas on TV today. I'd just like to see Gene Hunt recite put-downs and insults for each episode. Unfortunately the writers seem to have forgotten that Phil Glenister is the star of the show and now it seems they've made his character just a side-kick for the much less interesting Alex Drake. They've also turned Carling into a bit of a softie too. I've missed the last two episodes and I don't think I can be bothered tuning in to it any more.
