Posted March 7, 200817 yr is this taking 'paedogeddon' too far? a school has covered up the faces of their kids by using 'smiley' faces in an attempt to deter peadophiles from 'getting' their pupils. the notion is that these online images could potentially be used by peados to create disgusting pictures, or make the kids become targets for peados.. tbh i think this is barmy! they covered up the kids faces, but its the BODIES that pervs are interested in! take their argument to its logical conclusion... wouldnt they dress all kids in bags with covered faces? (like muslim women....lol) . this smacks of panic, whilst hiding the kids identity is a must, hiding their faces is riddiculous. if any perv was THAT driven, they could easily mingle outside any school and take their own digital photos of anyone they fancied, or go down the park, town, or anywhere they wanted to. (actually, this probably does go on )
March 7, 200817 yr Is this on their website? Just don't have any pictures at all then, you f***ing idiots. What next? Newspapers obliged to cover up the faces of all entrants in their 'beautiful baby' competitions. Obviously I wouldn't condone the actions of these theoretical c**ts out there who would 'make' porn using the photos of kids but this is going too far. If the school produces a yearbook then must it have no pictures lest somebody scans them in and adapts the photos then?

(actually, this probably does go on ) I totally agree, it's going WAY too far this one is... And completely fails to address the point that the vast majority of child abuse occurs in the home by a relative or a "friend" of the family, not by some faceless, nameless predator.... It's all very well to prepare kids to deal with "stranger danger", but they're not prepared for the potential abuse within the family home, which is far more likely...
