Just a query but is there a new remix of this floating around?

I heard it at work and I REALLY want it but I keep finding the original. :(

well even tho they can be too twee at times for post-strokes types, any chance this indie/alternative rock (with a hint of country) band can be moved to specialist???

Lovefool, Erase/Rewind and My Favourite game were their biggest hits and are certainly not 'Specialist'...more indie than anything but not 'Indie-Rock and Alternative'...I'll leave it in pop I think ^_^

I quite like it but its not a patch on the original, which is still amongst my 100 songs of all time

Me too! One of those rare things, a perfect pop song. I consider them one of my favourite bands, their last 2 albums are wonderful (Long Gone Before Daylight in particular is stunning, every song is gorgeous.)

The Cardigans are rather wonderful, Quality Pop music. Only in these horrendously dumbed-down, manufactured, Simon Cowell/X- Factor times in which we now live could anyone even consider such crystalline POP gems as "Lovefool", "Favourite Game" or "Erase/Rewind" (the original) as being somehow "alternative" rock....
Can anyone tell me if they are ever going to release a new album? I haven't heard anything from them after super extra gravity.
They are without a record label now I think but still together...I suppose they will probably try to find a new record label and release an album in the next 2/3 years but Nina's doing another A Camp album at the moment
I thought their first album was ok...not hugely different in sound to The Cardigans 2003 album Long Gone Before Daylight to be honest...I Can Buy You is a gorgeous track
