Loved reading the speculation on Devoted about Will doing the LN sessions again this year. :) :D I 'd never really thought of it but given how quickly his tickets were snapped up & how much he obviously enjoyed it I think it cold be a strong possibility.

What have they been saying TT - I can't get on D at the moment. It's slow at the best of times, but at the moment, for me, it's impossuible. :(

Just that some of the artists are asked back a second year chrysalis. It was Newton Faulkner's second year when we saw him supporting Will.

The little noise concert was my fave concert ever :yahoo: really hope he does this  ...if he does i hope every ones up for another late night in the hotel bar and hopefully anyone who missed out on tickets or couldn't make it before can join us there :cheer:

......"Two songs, live in the Radio 1 studio - 'Your Game'/'Hey Ya'...

OK - I'll be brief about this one. Is this guy a true talent or a package tour to Pop? Well, this live session in Jo's studio stopped me in my tracks. The quality of the backing band is staggering - there's a rich voice choir, easy jazz guitars, and fresh, pushy percussion. Young's voice has a breathtaking range - like a true jazz professional he plays edgy, then hard, then intimate, almost playful. It's a voice that takes you on a journey.. This is chic, deep soul, a kind of vocal jazz fusion at the highest level. The lyrics are simple, the voice is powerful, wide as a river, and confident. I don't fully understand the success of Young's personal brand, but this is genuinely exciting stuff. His cover version of Outkast's 'Hey Ya' is equally astonishing: note perfect, with exciting freestyling vocals. The creative interpretation promises well for the future. The echo on the voice in the studio was mesmerising, relaxing, seductive. These are assured, Friday night vocals, with a cool, confident mastery over pace and rhythum. Niiiice!

p.s. hey - just checked (15/04/04) and they've taken down the link from Radio 1’s site - but if you like the sound of it, just get the Friday's Child album. Go on - don't be embarrassed! I guarantee you won't be disappointed.

It's brilliant when non fans just open their ears & listen. :D
