I was not happy that the tennis over-ran and all I got on the recording which should have been Martin Shaw as George Gently was the never-ending tennis (which I hate!)

I'm afraid they always go with the majority Pearl, :friends: was the best tennis final I've ever seen though. :cheer:

Just noticed the new introduction to the site....how long as that been there

Can't take any credit I'm afraid. Thanks suggy.

Leave right now... in French

It's an album song from one of our X Factor finalist, Pierrick, and the title in French is La même erreur (The same mistake). :P

Quite funny, thought I would share it with you all ^_^

Thanks Bertie, well it's ok I suppose but the rockier version just doesn't sound right to me and kills all the songs emotion,

I think his vocal being a bit harsh spoilt it for me big time as well.

Thanks Xmas Bertie. Like Suggy the rockier version just doesn't do it for me. After I listened to the French bloke, I listened to the original - for the emotion and pureness of sound it just can't be beaten.

Please if you have a minute, you really need to go over to the official site and read a thread from a very lucky fan who met Will at Chiswick yesterday, it's absolutely brilliant and heartwarming and the pics are simply gorgeous, she's a lovely girl and is over the moon and no wonder! :o

The only other person who sang LRN well is Lee Mead on Any Dream Will Do. Excellent version.

It still wasn't a patch on Will's. For me Lee has a good musical theatre voice but he lacks Will's tonal qualities.

I have to agree with you there as well rosalind although it wasn't bad, it just sounded a bit lifeless but I lked his version of Paint It Black.

Of course it wasn't a patch on Will's version. What I said was that Lee was the best other singer to sing LRN. Not that it was better than Will's. And I do think that, for only the fourth or fifth time Lee had sung on television, it was a good version.

Paint It Black was brilliant - I didn't like it before Lee sang it.

I wouldn't say I love Lee - not like Will. But I find him very pleasant and a great find for musical theatre (which is my favourite genre)

I had another listen to his version of LRN and it really is very good.

By the way did anyone watch Who Dares Sings? I missed the bit when they chose which song the winner should sing but LRN was one of the possibilities.
