Sorry to hear about the Air Show TT. We've had another sea fret this morning, but the sun's slowing burning it off - hope they have better luck later to-day.

Munchkin - a sea fret is as TT said a sea mist that rolls in. It's something to do with the temperature of the land and sea clashing, and happens during hot spells. It rolls in with the tide and rolls out with the tide. Living so close to the sea (and in TT's case almost on the sea! ) we can be in a thick mist, and see the sun through it. Think this part of the UK maybe one of the few areas that get it.

Are you going to see Jools then?

Thanks Chrysalis  Years ago when we went on holiday in a caravan overlooking Lulworth Cove there used to be a mist every evening which made you feel cold and damp but, as you say, it generally disaappeared with the sun the next morning,.

No I'm not particularly partial to Jools' music. :P

Sorry to hear that TT. You should have had the air show moved up here - it's been another glorious afternoon and evening with no sea fret. Glad you got some enjoyment though.
