Good afternoon everyone...yes, two weeks back to back and I'm posting my chart early!!!! :mellow:

 

The reason being that for the next 3/4 weeks, my chart will be appearing here on a Wednesday until about the first week of April as, for some reason or other, I seem to have a very busy Thursday coming up, and this week is no exception, mainly for interviews, uni work and love... :P

 

So, this week's chart sees another mini clearout and we have another 3 brand spanking new entries as well as 1 re-entry.

 

Let's take a look at this weeks casualties then:

This week could see Mark Brown and Sarah Cracknell match, in total that is, Robyn's massive 7 week run at number 1!! But will they succeed, because this week there is such strong competition from the likes of Timbaland and The Mystery Jets.

 

But are any of these strong enough to give my 4th number 1 of 2008...let's find out, the countdown starts now!!!! (thought I'd build it up a little bit :lol: !!!!)

I mentioned in the chart thread on Sunday afternoon, that thi sis one of my favourite tracks of the year by a band I really cannot stand!!!! So, kicking us off at 20, its 5 weeks in the chart, down 2 at 20 for One Night Only...and most likely to be their one and only time in my chart (get the pun!!!!)

It's number one AGAIN!!!! I know there's going to be some people who will see this and want to scream (at the top of their lungs :P , sorry) but this song still gets to me somehow and I struggle to find a song as good to replace it...thats my excuse and I'm sticking to it!!!!

Number 1 This Week: Mark Brown and Sarah Cracknell match Robyn's run, can they set a new record?? (7 weeks so far......).

 

Highest New Entry: Again for another week, stuck at 2, its The Futureheads this week with 'The Beginning Of The Twist'.

 

Biggest Faller: The Ting Tings suffer this week, for not giving 'Great DJ' a physical release, by falling 9 places to 12.

 

Highest Climber: Kelly Rowland makes a surprise comeback to the top 10. 'Work', the Freemasosns remix (!!) climbs 9 places from numbers 16 to 7.

 

Longest Runner: This week Lupe Fiasco and Matthew Santos, Basshunter, Adele and Mark Brown and Sarah Cracknell spend 9 weeks each inside the top 20 this week.

 

Tip For Next Week's Chart: The Mystery Jets, Utah Saints, Sugababes and Gnarls Barkley will all be appearing but in what order??
