My girl Immi is finally hitting the big time! :dance:

 

She's shot to fame since her layered accepela "Hide & Seek" was played at the end of an episode of The OC. Then her her newest solo album capitalised on the success of her Frou Frou colaboration and now she's releasing her next single "Goodnight & Go".

 

I was an immediate fan from back in 1998 I think it was when I saw the song "Come Here Boy" on The Box (before it sold out to being just mainstream pop) and I loved the song, rushed out and bought the album! So glad I did too as her 1st album iMegaphone went out of print it seems, although it has since been rereleased.

 

Anyway, does anyone else here listen to Immi and when did you become a fan?

 

Anyone new to her should pop onto her myspace page and listen to her excellent new electronic sound.

I don't really like "Hide And Seek" tbh, not heard any other stuff.

She's amazing. Hide and Seek is NOTHING like anything else she's done

I met her and Guy in Jan 2003 at a booksigning! My friend in Boston had sent me Breathe In a few weeks earlier and then seen them at the booksigning there. To my surprise, I saw they were coming to Chicago the next day!!

 

They played 5 songs for free and then signed everyone's albums and gave us free DVD's of the Breathe In vid! Both were SO nice, Immi drew random pictures all over my album, hahaha.
