I have refrained from the results this week though I do have to say that this was by far the best show of the season, I was just about to give up when Kristy left but I've been pulled back on board.

Carly and Syesha gave the single two best performances of the season without a doubt.

Syesha really worked her thing and gave a vocal which didn't strain her voice. After near enough 10 weeks of not thinking much of her, she really connected with a song and finally found something which she shined at.

But it was Carly that really blew me away, one of my favourite songs, performed nothing less than astoundingly. I think she actually performed it far better than Anastacia (and that is coming from a big Anastacia fan).

I was actually very impressed by David Cook this week. She gave a very nice vocal performance and I actually felt engaged by the performance, opposed to my usual 'turning off my ears'.

Oh dear for Brooke, she is getting far worse than better. The performance was definitely one of her weakest but I really liked the ending. She finally got into her own and begun showing herself but the beginning was very poor and even after two attempts she still couldn't sing that line correctly at the end of the first verse.

David Archeluta is boring me now. Yes he can sing, yes he can sing anything, yes he has the biggest range but he sings incredibly flat. I can't believe nobody has picked up on this. The low notes and high notes have very little difference though I don't really like his voice anyway.

Jason was completely useless. The whole song was sung on one level, no difference in tone and of course no range. Anyone could have sung that, in fact I reckon I could have sung that better. He was constantly breathing into the mic which was annoying and the performance was just generally boring.

 

I think Brooke's time is up though, I think she actually knew that from her performance, she was nervous wreck the whole time. Jason should be joining her in the bottom two but it wouldn't surprise me if it was Syesha.

Four weeks in a row, my favourite performance of the night has gone home.

Carly & Syesha have always lacked in fanbase and I think Carly's exit is due to her fans not being scared of her elimination. Plus I hate to say it but she did sing 'Jesus Christ' Superstar, I noticed they renamed the song 'Superstar', that just proves the point the I don't really want to say.

 

I suppose its onto to next week, The David's definitely have this season wrapped up, the fight for third place is the one to concentrate on. I think Syesha could get it but her luck does have to run out sooner or later.

Syesha was actually good this week, so I knew she wouldn't go home. Carly going home was ridiculous, it should have been Jason. He has failed to deliver just about every week except maybe one. I can't stand David Cook, his performance bored me that night. I don't think Syesha is going to last much longer myself.

Where's Irena? The last time i was talking to her was 2 days ago when she was at work :unsure: :(
