I guess I'm being dense again, but why or how does wearing a scarf protect his voice? Unless of course it is swathed

over his face (or mouth) to help keep out cold or polluted air and germs. I was under the impression that wearing a

scarf was just one of his idiosyncrasies.

You could be right Bramley - the Scottish Fashion Icon does have his own style!! :D

It looks like a pleasant day in LA - the boys are wearing shorts and D has a short-sleeve shirt on - but Natasha looks like she is trying to keep warm and D is wearing his scarf!! I have just always assumed that he wears a scarf to protect his voice when he is 'hard at work' - something to do with his vocal chords!! Natasha is filming the 2nd series of Eli Stone as well so maybe she is making sure she doesn't come down with a chill!! :D I'm waffling!!......

I think that reveals a lot of faith but no substance, as in placebo pills.

In the Artists Forums League, this week we have gone up from 5 to Number 4 !!!!!!!!!

How DO we do it?

we must have a lot of viewers 'cos we haven't been here very often!

Meg's away for a week and then some

BT is away

PiP has vanished

Just a few of us here posting....so there must be a lot of lookers.... :D

Well done to the few!

Darius was included in one of those "celebrities who bounced back" pieces on the Orange home page. Surprisingly the tone was positive. I'll see if I can find the link later.

Lots of celebrities bounce back but few do it Darius style - bouncing higher each time.

I looked for it last night but couldn't find it. Now I'm wondering if it was a different home page and trying to go through those I often use.

I came across an article on ' The Indpendent' site............the headline was 'the story of the seldom seen kid'.

Raised my hopes momentarily, till I found it was about a guy called Bryan Glancy.

Did anyone see that new variety show ( Only for one night?) hosted by Vernon Kay and Joan Rivers? The finale was Razzle Dazzle and it was staged pretty much like it is in the Chicago show with Ronan Keating and (I think) Ryan Molloy of Jersey boys singing the vocals between them.

Another 2 who IMHO didn't come close to the powerful performances of Darius. In fact I think I preferred Duncan James to both of those.

Ronan was dire. He was audibly out of tune quite a few times although to be fair his performance had some attempt at gusto. I was very disappointed in Ryan Molloy. I thought he'd have been much much better. His singing was fine but not remarkable in any way however his Billy had no energy, no pizzazz - not much of a ringmaster.

If you can see the show again on the ITV website have a look at the last 5 to 10 minutes and you can judge for yourself.

I thought that program was utter tripe - it made me miss darius all the more, Boyzone and Pussycat dolls were terrible, and as for razzle dazzle, horrendous!
Darius isn't within the inner golden circle. He'd never be invited on to any shows like that. It's always the same few faces who turn up on the prime time evening shows.

Is that because SC has so much influence on that channel because nearly all the artistes who appear seem to be connected i.e. label etc.

Found this on WOS.According to a report in Variety, future productions at the Menier will include A Little Night Music"Dates are not fixed and contracts are still unsigned, but Trevor Nunn has committed to direct Stephen Sondheim's A Little Night Music, the first London revival of the show since a 1995 National Theater [sic] production.

None of the posts re this have an criticism for him.Its just accepted.

No-one slags off Lord Webber for his recent less than truly successful shows because in the past he's been a giant and there's always hope that he has another great one in his locker.

The same is true of Sir Trevor. They have earned that trust through years of dedication, innovation and excellence.

The first season of Eli Stone, in which Natasha plays Eli's fiancee, starts in he UK on the SciFi channel on 6th Octaber. No information on actual time yet.

If I'm lucky the scaffolding should be down by then and my Sky signal restored.

We don't have Sky, so I guess I shall miss it. To be honest, I doubt I would watch it anyway.
I hope you remind me, BT

Me remind you? You're having a laugh!

I will try to post the exact time when I find out, but I'll probably be the one who forgets when it comes around.

It looks like fun, so I'll watch at least 3 episodes. It usually takes the pilot plus a couple of others for me to know if I'll watch regularly, dip in and out or not bother. It's a legal show with lots of humour and quirky bits because Eli has visions.
