I like a video recorder. As long as I have Dave as an additional aid to switch the thing on.

I'd still have my recordable Dvd/video for hard copies. I won't entrust my memories to digital, not after the experiences I've had with computers.

The Sky + box can hold live telly until you're ready to watch it again. I never remember to put on the video when the phone or doorbell goes.

With built in memory it would be much tidier than endless videos and Dvds for programmes I do want to watch but sometimes take ages to get around to. I usually end up tripping over dozens of recorded blank tapes .

Is that a Sky + box ? I was warming to the idea of upgrading to one.

Yes

We upgraded because the hard drive on the last one had gone for the second time and we had struggled for over a year having to watch what someone wanted recording as you couldn't record and watch a different side

The new one has worked for other things but doesn't seem to like Eli Stone

We've not worked that one out yet......

Like I did this afternoon, watching 'The Vikings', a superb film even though it is fifty years old. Kirk Douglas and Tony Curtis.
This is where Dave can't help........you've missed it. Apparently on some TV gadgets you can rewind and view (not mine)
Do you know? I'd probably give it a miss. Doesn't sound quite like a film I may enjoy.

You may find this very superfluous but I think it makes interesting reading into the career of someone under the same management as D. and who was based in USA and uk.It is from the daily mail and is very long.

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/tvshowbiz...e-Dancing.html - it should be underlined but hasnt come up as such.

If you have the address at the top of the page in the strip marked address, just right click on it and select copy. Then come onto the forum right click and select paste from the drop down menu. That'll give you a valid address.
Thanks meg, it was there a couple of minutes before I posted. It was about rachel stevens and was not a good write up for her, said her website had closed because of no news but she was hoping strictly come dancing would bring back her career, how she hd hoped to break USA acting wise and she was very ambitious but it wasnt coming off, I actually thought for her Roxie in chicago as she sings and dances, mentioned simon fuller etc but it was not a good write up, mabe thats why it has been pulled.
I think the address may have been wrong. You don't normally have the ........within a site address.
Yes meg, the second one is the one. It seems that 19 work at a slow pace at getting thereir acts out there. I saee emma bunton is to appear on loose women for a week.
