I think there was one which was very popular in Japan but it didn't have the blessing of the Mitchell estate. I'm not sure if it was based more on Scarlett rather than GWTW. It did have a major gimmick - it was an all female cast. There are excerpts from it on youtube. It looks horrendous.
'Scarlett', the musical, opened first in Japan, and ran for four hours. Remind us of something??
Not on my wavelength, BT. I've put a query on the Interchange thread. Can you help?

What a treat we have tonight on TV......A whole hour of John Barrowman telling us why he is gay!!!!!!!

God help us!!!!!!! I must pop over to the library for something to read!

Ah, but Barrowman's loquatiousness needs an hour to say just that.
I'm going to watch Harley Street at 9pm. I've never seen it. I think Suranne Jones is quite a good actress.
I watched it last week and was not impressed.

Was that the first episode, Bramley?

I think the first show of most series and serials is often skewed because they try introduce the main characters and give some idea of the relationships between them far too quickly, in my opinion.

It took me quite a few shows to get into Heroes but then I really enjoyed the rest of season 1. The second one lost me because I couldn't watch it regularly. I gave up on it.

I swsitched over as soon as I new JB was going to be on. Harley St hasnt done well in the ratings.

Why am I not surprised. Melodramatic , with sex and intrigue thrown in for good measure. Hospital series have

done well,so here is a new twist, a Harley street setting with hospital drama included.
