If D is in London next month, he will probably go to one of George Michael's concerts.......there are rumours that

Andrew Ridgeley might join him. D lists GM on Myspace as one of his inspirational heros.

.

George Michael had cameo roles in the TV series Natasha is starring in - Eli Stone. All of the first season episodes were named after GM's songs. The second season has been commissioned.

Did anyone see Heartbeat last night? Victor McGuire was playing the newspaper editor. Just a small part this time but I hope he appears more often on TV. He's a good actor.

I thought he played Amos just right - not stupid but too nice a soul to look for bad in others.
Truisting and unassuming.. A very good Amos. I liked the lad who understudied him as Amos as well -Gareth I think his name was. He was very good as part of the ensemble as well. He did well playing the jury members.

I'm pretty sure Victor was always Amos when I saw Chicago. I'm sure he was still Amos when I saw Darius at the Cambridge Theatre with Bonnie and Amra.

I only saw Chicago once but I recall thinking the part of Amos was well played.

I often wish I lived nearer to London, to access the theatres, museum exhibitions and events. I went to the

Tutankhamun exhibition but I missed the terracotta warriors.

My son lived in Bromley in Kent for a while and that was great for him. He always loved all kinds of entertainment and appreciated history, architecture and art not to mention his first love, sport. I was so jealous when he'd tell me what he'd done that week in London.

My son saw Nureyev dance which I never did, much to my regret.

When he moved from London it was to Florida which didn't have so much going for it in the way of history or culture but he loved it the outdoor life there too and so did I. It was a laid back life style and the people are great.

Glasgow is a cultural centre, isn't it? The last time I was there, many years ago, I was not greatly impressed, but

things have changed since then. I much prefer Edinburgh.

I enjoyed the historical side of Edinburgh. Went to the tattoo when the chinese lions and acrobats were performing.

Loved the statue of Greyfriars Bobby in the Grassmarket, and climbed the Scott Monument....wouldn't manage

that now. Have been several times and always enjoyed it.

Now going to watch TV, New Tricks.

I really like the cast in New Tricks. They're all actors I've followed as individuals over the years and they work so well together. It's one of the better UK police series.
I just don't get a chance at watching TV these days. I did watch a dvd earlier (they can be paused so you don't have to miss bits).
Who knows?.................he treats that transatlantic flight like a bus trip, almost. Natasha said she and Darius were frequent flyers - very frequent.
