No, it's on his youtube but doesn't show on the youtube vids that come on his site.

The more impressive one has obviously been selected. FAD displays his voice to greater effect.

I wonder who actually runs the D Myspace site.

Yoiu see, I much prefer the hymn. his voice is good,the arrangement fine and he still has the quality in his voice thaty I have always loved. Not as much range is used but the quality is definately there.

This is where personal taste comes into play.

Ditto Bramley. I found the hymn was to me sung adequately as in a choir etc but did not have the light and shade as it were which gave some attack to from a distance.

If it had and become something other than what it was, I'd probably not have liked it.

I think D was treading a fine line between displaying his ability and toning down his performance in the light of the religious

programme in which he was taking part. Plus I expect he had to do as he was told in many respects.

Michael Crichton has died.....it began as throat cancer and last spring he was diagnosed with lymphoma cancer, like D's father.

I have great admiration for his books.

He will probably be best remembered for 'Jurassic Park', though several others of his books were also made into films.

Very tall (6ft 9ins) and extremely intelligent, ( a medical doctor who studied at Harvard and lectured at Cambridge) he will be greatly missed.

The clips on you tub e annoyed me a bit as felt D was again not getting promotion for himself and people getting to hear his voice as the clips were headed up aled jones at the big sing. DD at the big sing would have been better but then that seems to be the story of his life.

Kathryn Jenkins warble again. She has a lovely voice, spoiled (for me) by the exaggerated quivering.

Well, at least we know he is determined to get this 3rd album completed - even when it means he wont be in the public eye for a while.

Not sure whether not being in the public eye is a good thing or not. 'Out of sight, out of mind' could mean having to climb the ladder from the bottom again.

That's what's always annoyed me in the past. Brilliant19/Mercury always seemed quite happy to let any success for Darius drip away into the sand during long delays between projects, whereas 19/Sony/BMG seemed to go out of their way to ensure their clients' names were everywhere between projects.
