Paul McCartney offers Amy Winehouse James Bond theme writing advice

Paul McCartney has offered some songwriting advice to Amy Winehouse when it comes to the theme tune for the next James Bond film, Quantum of Solace.

Bond music composer David Arnold has said he thinks Amy would be “wonderful” for the job but nothing has been confirmed yet.

But in case Amy wants to make a start on the task, ‘Live and Let Die’ singer Paul said recently: “I think Amy Winehouse would be really good, and I think she would do a really good job. My advice to her would be not to try and rhyme Solace with anything - that’s too hard.”

“I have been trying to think of something to rhyme with Solace and all I can come up with is Wallace! I don’t envy whoever is going to do the song!”
