So you'd better watch tonight's show.

 

All I'm saying is that it's not my absolute fave or one of the other 3 that I like and it wasn't 1 of the 2 who i think deserved to go.

Also to say 'I know but I'm not saying' to then say who didn't get voted out, kind of defeats the point of not saying. :lol: But I'm also not surprised, I think the person voted off deserved to go this time.

I wasn't surprised...the person who was voted off was hardly one of the favourites...I did find Carly Smithson in the bottom 3 to be a big surprise though

i was glad about the person going home havent liked them since i saw them

I liked them but only because they remind me of someone I know

I haven't seen this weeks episodes yet so I can't comment on her performance this week, but I'll watch it tonight

The studio version of 'David Cook - Always Be My Baby' is one of my favourite songs of the year so far :wub:

Yeah, and it looked kinda funny how it really seemed that MC didn't wanna hug the contestants and so on and much rather did like talking about how she wrote the songs etc what she had done rather than about the contestants.

 

David Cook was absolutely brilliant with Always Be My Baby, by far the best of the night. Brooke's performance was by far the worst but I knew she was going to be saved because she was so bad that her fans knew it was do or die time. Kristy was ok, not nearly as bad as usually, I actually would have sent Syesha home. I find her very unlikeable and sassy and the way she mimics Whitney, Mariah, Fantasia etc, it is like she has absolutely no own personality nor any kinda perspective to what she can and cannot sing. She is no Whitney/Mariah and we all know that, how can she be so big-headed that she cannot realize that herself. Hopefully she will be gone next week.

 

And I had to post this from FOI site about the results broadcast last night, absolutely hilarious, especially no 12. And no 5 a very good point.

 

1. What was Paula Abdul wearing? It looked like she got dressed in the dark.

2. How was the group number? Atrocious.

3. Hey, look! They showed that guy who used to be an artist until he sold his soul to 19E when he wrote “This Is My Now.”

4. I’m waiting for a guest star who is unbelievably cruel.

5. David Cook had an ample opportunity to tell the world about his brother’s cancer treatments and the terrible situation his family finds themselves in… but, he didn’t. He didn’t milk a sob story at all. If he just told the truth tonight about why he was so emotional, he would get an influx of votes. He didn’t. That says something great about David Cook’s character. If people tell you that they think he is pompous, you should drop kick them.

6. Man, Carly sure whined tonight. “You’ve been hard on me” comes out as “Waahhhh!”

7. I loved David C.’s expression when he realized he was in a group with Kristy Lee. Priceless. It was a look that said, “Aww… c**p.”

8. The Ford music video was incredibly creepy.

9. It’s official. Kristy Lee Cook will not get her horse back.

10. Only Divas can have diamond microphone stands. I think an Idol stagehand could have stolen that and made a trip to the pawnshop. Big money.

11. Mariah Carey told the top seven contestants to “do” themselves.

12. Pop quiz! Which building contains more prescription drug medications: a pharmacy or the American Idol studio on a night when both Paula Abdul and Mariah Carey are in the building?

13. It took Carly a very long time to get the clue that she was safe tonight. Maybe she couldn’t understand Ryan’s heavy American accent.

14. Brooke’s unnecessary “anger and sympathy” moments are becoming ridiculously overplayed. Stop it, Brooke.

She was the weakest vocalist of the seven, no doubt about that and I had been wanting her to go for quite some time, during the semifinals I really didn't even think she could make it into the finals but actually she did gain some respect from me in the last few weeks. She was a very smart competitor, knowing what was her thing, knowing that it was the way to be unique in this group. And even with so many bottom three visits she seemed to stay positive. I really didn't care that she was voted off but I actually wanted Syesha to go for the reasons in my post above. And most likely she will be gone next week. Another contestant I am getting bored to is Brooke. She was one of my favourites but the "I cannot believe I was good" act when judges are complementing her and those million excuses she has always ready when she does badly are really getting on my nerves. And how can she be so whiney.

 

Jason is ok thou I do think he sounds the same every week. Carly is pretty good and I was happy that the disasterous Show Must go On didn't destroy her on AI. David A is also good but not nearly as good as he his hyped to be. And luckily since Brooke chose Hero (the obvious Arculeta choice for MC week) there were plenty of other uplifting feel-good songs left for him to choose from. And next week since it is ALW week we will be hearing either Memory or The Impossible Dream from David A. So not only my favourite for MC week but for the whole competition, is David Cook. Brilliant (almost) every week. Thou I do think if it is David vs David final the teen girls will re-dial until they fingers will bleed and then dial some more and that might make the difference.

i disagree she has proved in the last few weeks her vocals are quite a bit better then Jason and Brooke -_-

having watched it last night...I agree that David Cook was by far the best...

 

Syesha was over the top, Carly was alright, Brooke was a bit bland, Kristy was ok, Jason wasn't bad and I can't listen to When You Believe without thinking of Leon Jackson now but David's version wasn't bad :heehee:

I agree what you say about Syesha - she's always OTT.

I also agree about David C, he was the best by miles, I do disagree about Brooke - she did a good unplugged performance.

 

I still say Brooke & David C for the final.
