Named after the William Blake poem, lead singer Aldous Snow (aka Russell Brand) is going to release his debut single, co-written & produced by Robbie Williams ex songwriting partner Guy Chambers in LA.

 

This track will be released in the near future (possibly as a single) on the Universal label taken from the movie soundtrack Forgetting Sarah Marshall.

 

What do you think of it?

THE SWINE. :cheer: He's not a bad singer, apparntly he's made two singles, a ballad and a (described) Aerosmith-riff driven song, which sounds good to me. ^_^

Yeah I saw a trailer for Forgetting Sarah Marshall the other day when I went to see Step Up 2 and he plays a "hugely successful rockstar" in the film, where he performs a few times.

 

I do hope it's not released however. :(

This is surprisingly good. If he makes the charts, he wouldn't be the first R2 DJ to do it.

 

Terry Wogan, Jimmy Young, Ray Moore and Steve Wright have all done it, plus a number of singers

have hosted shows on R2 eg. Ronan Keating, Martine McCutcheon, Beverley Knight, Ruby Turner,

Suzi Quatro, Michael Ball. etc.

And Mark Radcliffe was part of the Shirehorses, but never made the Top 40.
