I went for "Bowling for Columbine" as his best film, because I genuinely think he put so much of his heart and soul into it, "Roger and Me" is excellent as well. "Farenheit 9/11" one several levels is absolutely brilliant, but feels slightly colder than his other docs.

"Canadian Bacon" kinda irritates me, but I can see what he was trying to do....

This guy leaves me so conflicted. I've only seen Bowling and Fahrenheit and the fact is that I agree with him on almost every single point he makes.

The problem is that despite the fact that he revealed some incredibly important facts and made very astute arguments in both films, he has destroyed his credibility and I don't think he's "converted" anyone. He's done to the liberals what neo-con media figures have done to conservatives. In the same way that I would never trust a word from Bill O'Reilly, no self-defined conservative would give Moore 10 seconds of his time. He's sort of irrelevant because he really just preaches to the choir. (By the way this all just describes his credibility in the US, I'm sure his reputation is much different in other countries)

Bowling was my favorite for being slightly less political and definitely more personal and impassioned (as Grimly said). When the woman from K-Mart comes out and makes that announcement it feels like Moore has made a true achievement.

But I just have to say... I've lived in several rural and urban places throughout the US and it's really not that dangerous. Moore goes to Toronto and acts like it's an entirely different universe. Which sort of offended a couple of my Canadian friends. Besides, I live in Chicago and never lock my door when I'm home! And my only break-in experience was in Paris, of all cities. Although that crafty guy got in through a window

They were offended by Moore saying that Canada was a civilised, friendly place full of intelligent, nice people...??

not seen that film myself but i read it's supposed to be a proper film rather than a doc, bit like a human team america with john candy. dont think its suppose to be that great, maybe thats where the offence lay.

and as for nice people
