Picked this little gem up for a fiver the other day. :dance: Just great to have the original Sun Recordings and the bonus tracks (Heartbreak Hotel onwards on Disc One) plus Disc Two has the fantastic Louisiana Hayride Recordings. You can imagine yourself right there watching history in the making B) Disc Two concludes with Elvis talking about himself :cheer:

Thanks Tilly :thumbup: Got mine a few days ago from Play. Had to listen to the live recordings and the small interviews :) Shame the quality is quite poor on the songs, but Elvis still sounds fantastic in them :thumbup: I am sure you guys have heard this, but it's the first time I have ever heard of him referred to as "the Memphis Flash"

 

 

It's was nice hearing little bits of his humour coming through :) probably worth the £2.99 even without the music! I haven't listened to the first disc yet, but will in the next day or so :)

Glad you got it, Paul :thumbup: Elvis does sound great on them and when you think he performed those shows over 50 years ago, you can really sense the excitement of the fans who were seeing someone totally different to those they'd had to listen to before :dance: As for the Memphis Flash, it was a great nickname and his fashion style was certainly flash! When he first started, he was called the Hillbilly Cat :cheer:
