I bought a promo CD recently from ebay of Dance like there's no tomorrow - Paula Abdul remixes CD. I noticed on the back of the CD it is a CDr. Could this be a fake? The CD looks legitmate and is a professionally printed CD with a record label name on it.

 

 

It's probably a genuine promo - those which are sent out way before the release are quite often not the finished product.

 

I quite often get some which are just CD-Rs with the band's name scrawled on in black pen and with hastily printed artwork in a plastic sleeve.

Well it looks genuine enough but I dont usually buy promos so I wasnt sure and wanted to check. Thanks for that.
