"It's been 15 years since Madonna's raunchy, provocative tour documentary Truth or Dare" - T'cha Dunlevy writes on The Gazette. "I'm Going To Tell You A Secret" is a CD/DVD package following her 2004 Re-Invention Tour, and finds a softer, kinder Madge, concerned with the plight of humanity and the well-being of her dancers."

"She loves her kids, and her loutish husband; she has insecurities and doubts, and tries to overcome her ego, even as she calls herself the queen. After 20-plus years of superstardom, Madonna has learned deeper truths, and she is eloquent enough to put her wisdom into words. Her "secret" has something to do with peace, kids, accountability and self-realization. Holy Kabbalah!

The CD captures the excitement of the live show, with a few musical lapses. The DVD offers a privileged peek at a pop deity still at the top of her game.
