do u think the enxt kylie album can have a number 1 single and could the labum go number 1???X is the only album apart from impossible princess not to score a top 2 hit although i know we have 2 more singles to come

Yeah, as the phrase goes (excuse the 'old') "there's life in the old dog yet!" She definitely has the fanbase and the star quality to have more number one singles and albums, I am pretty much convinced that X could've had a number one single if she hadn't led with "2 Hearts."

X sold enough its its first week to be a number 1 on many other weeks of the year so its a shame it missed the number 1 as of a bad release date clash

 

again i have to agree i think wow or in my arms or th eone and possibly like a drug could have all been a number 1 hit if they released either as first single,i understand why 2 hearts was first single in one way as if it wasnt first single i t would have never been a single for me i just wish they left 2 hearts as an album track as ithink it would have made a brilliant album track nut not a single

Yeah I agree with it being a shame X missed out but the run up to Christmas is always difficult. Very pleased with it's chart run though, "Wow" did wonders for it!

ya i think wow pushed the album a little mor ethan many expected if in my arms can help sell the album as much the album will move nicely passed the half a million sale sin the UK

If she hadn't have led with 2 hearts i think the album would have charted higher. I also think that if Wow had been released first it would have made #1. I think the fact it that Wow had been in chart since December meant that by the time it's offical release date came it peaked lower then it maybe would have done.

yes it would have peaked higher if it had an earlier phyisical relesae but on saying that it has worked out well as wow has and still is selling well and that is great to

If they make a truly cohesive album (I'm talking like Fever here, not the mish-mash of styles that is X) with a mega-hot lead single (something as memorable as Head, In Your Eyes, Slow or I Believe In You) then nothing is beyond reach.

 

Saying that Kylie has a habit of picking album tracks poorly given the quality of even some of the rough demos that get leaked.

id like to know who picked the final songs for the album,who ever picked 2 hearts as the lead single must be crazy as 2 hearts in no way refelcts the album at all,also some of the songs left of the album should have made it instead of some of the ones that did,X is the perfect era to release a rarities album as i think they coul dmake a brilliant rarities album for fans right now

I think she'll definitely get a #1 single again. I'm not sure about albums though, the only #1 album she had since the early days was Fever off the back of a monster smash like CGYOMH.
