1. west end girls

anyone see the pet shop boys thingy on channel 4 last night. well i caught the end of it when these two girls with dustbin lids on their heads came on the show. i dont know where they were from (sounded russian or hungarian or something) but they were a pet shop boys tribute band called west end girls.

now dont you think that they should enter next years contest (for whatever slavic country they are from ) with a song written by the real pet shops boys?

would be interesting dont you think?

Or Pet Shop Boys for the UK :-)

but thats not a good plan.

if people like pet shop boys records and everyone bloc votes for the slavic countries, the two girls in pointy hats singing psb songs for russia must be a good idea!!!

I would never be an advocate for The Darkness, well, unless it was to advocate chucking them off a cliff.....

In recent years UK & Irish acts go into oblivion afterwards.

So for Ireland I suggest Westlife

For UK McFly or Will Young

Then hopefully we wouldn't have to suffer them again :cheer:

I withdraw my request for Dragonforce and Alison Goldfrapp then......

Will Young for Eurovision 2007.........

Hope the fukker gets 'null pointes'.......

Somehow remembering their performance think they didnt wanna be there. as much a phonein performance as wes in blade 3!!! somehow think Ivan Shapovalov (Иван Шаповалов) pushed em into it.

then again if they wanna turn up backed by a 50ft fire breathing robot i would vote for them

altogether now "Робот Робот Робот Робот Робот da da da da da"

No, my girlfriend said it was utter c**p, she was embarrassed by it..... She wants Behemoth (a seriously nasty Polish Death Metal band) to represent Poland next year....

Lordi got my vote this year, and, no, I had not touched a drop, I actually quite liked them before all this ESC malarkay anyway.....

I though lordi was good!!!

I always think it will be good to watch it was foreign friends, bit of in-house rivalry, and in the old days with the scoring as a drinking game.

Nah, the UK needs someone who is fairly well known around Europe and can sing live and good. Not McFly... :puke2:

As much as I loathe him, that would be someone like Robbie Williams then, yeah....?

...Mind you, Depeche Mode are pretty big in Europe as well....

Yeah :puke2: although he'd never do it, so someone a little less famous who would do it would be better.

Though I agree, if we never see a Daz related song in the top 40 again I'll be very surprised...
