July 17, 200817 yr Author Thanks sunday. It's briliant to be able to see the reception he got. :yahoo: Maybe someone should post this to that idiot.
July 17, 200817 yr Thanks Sunday. Some people really make themselves look so ridiculous. Did they really think that no-one would know what it was like.

July 17, 200817 yr Suggy have you got the link to that numpty's post? Here it is, http://www.efestivals.co.uk/forums/index.p...=105891&hl= though I must say, there's been quite a few threads over there, where Will has been discussed and it's been really good to read about them saying how good he was. :D
July 18, 200817 yr Thanks Suggy. I like these comments - a lot. Ticket was wasted on you. Wasn't it just and I'm wondering if he actually bothered staying around for a full set from any of the acts mentioned? for a start Will Young was great, he was on for nearly an hour and did 9 songs and also added 500 miles and bonnie banks o' loch lomand which went down well! the tent was packed out and the crowd loved him and went mental. And ANOTHER sad sad jealous prick wanting to re-write history. Insuilting not just to Will's fans but also to the huge amount of men who were his audience that day :arrr: Posted by JanetL on D: don't know where Will Young got them from, but a small army of middle aged mothers packed out the Pet Sounds tent for his early afternoon set. I'd like to comment on the full show, but I came, I photographed, I left. Three songs was two and a half too many. The Womens' Institute seemed to enjoy it though. It's eating up some people who just can't come to terms with him fitting in so well with their 'cool' festivals. Spiteful lies. He - and his music - just can't be ignored any longer. July 18, 200817 yr Thanks suggy i thought someone who was there had taken a photo of the crowd and it plainly was not middle aged house wives[can't remember if i saw it on D or the o/s]
July 18, 200817 yr Cheers for that munchkin, like you say he'll always have the jealous tossers who crawl out of the woodwork when he dares to set foot into what they think is "their own hallowed music area", the thing is, it's getting harder and harder to deny him, even the NME has a whole page dedicated to him now! including loads of videos and the 500 miles clip and Borat mankini clip from Glastonbury.:yahoo: *Thanks to RosJ for posting the link. http://www.nme.com/video/id/FXGCynZs-0w/search/Will%2BYoung

July 18, 200817 yr I'm afraid there's always going to be 2/3 who make obnoxious remarks about Will and his music. We've all lived with that since 2002. What I can't stand is obvious lying. What on earth did he think he would gain from it, apart from notoriety. He must have known he would be proved wrong. Troublemaker. :arrr: And the press always pick up on the bad (whether it be true or not) and not the good. Thanks for all the bits and bobs everyone.
July 18, 200817 yr Thanks for displaying the truth munchkin. The comment was made by some oik reporting for the e-festival site - which makes it even more sadder - because it's supposed to give people who weren't there an idea of what went on: http://www.efestivals.co.uk/festivals/titp...-saturday.shtml And the press always pick up on the bad (whether it be true or not) and not the good. I don't think we need worry about that in this case Chrysalis - we've had some really good feedback proving this to be a pack of lies. I'm moving on now but just want people reading these pages to know how it really was. Edited July 18, 200817 yr by munchkin
