I've always been a big fan of Eve, since I was a little kid.

She is THE BEST female rapper (Trina, Da Brat, and Missy be close seconds) of all-time, imho.

And I really love the song...the reggae vibe is wicked and the song is catchy.

Really don't understand why it wasn't well-received.

I adore this song! Wish it would get that UK release which has been 'coming soon' for months and months now.

And yes, Eve is the best female rapper of all IMO. What's great about her music is that she doesn't feel the need to be amazingly filthy or rap over hardcore hip-hop beats; she makes some really great r&b/pop crossover music. Trina is great too but very different. :P

This song is really amazing, it's got such a cool flow, Eve and Sean Paul really hit the nail on the head with this song. I'm a bit burned out on it now though, I'll probably get into it again this summer.

I just don't get why this song wasn't a hit...?

I'm hoping it will still be on the album when its released, if so, maybe it could get the attention it deserves.

I mean, this is way better than Tambourine and much better than alot of the c**p which pollutes our airwaves nowadays.

I agree it craps on Tambourine (which I love!) and the video is also far superior. The song flopped in the US undeservedly but it should still be given a chance in the UK, especially as Tambourine didn't do too badly here. :(

Ah, but...to a US artist, the UK is a relatively small market.

I mean, a #1 on the Hot 100 can easily propell an album to millionaire sales (if its a hit in the US its almost a sure-fire hit around the globe B) ).

On the other hand, she would have to be HUGE (I'm talking Leona HUGE) in the UK to sell 500,000+, which is unlikely to happen.

Right now she is probably completely redoing the album, probably discarding all of that great original stuff to hook up with Timbaland and one of his bitches (Nelly Furtado/Justin/Keri Hilson/etc.) and release that as lead single...

Timbaland has become the new Neptunes, everyone who wants a hit single hooks up with him, but eventually people will get tired of it and move on. -_-

Oh well...

I'm just hoping Give It To You and Tambourine will still be on the album when its released  ..Who knows? Maybe we could even be blessed with some cool remixes ?

hmm I know this song for ages i think. but Sean paul's best song was Temperature and Eve's is Tambourine. This single doesn't impress me much...
