Posted May 25, 200619 yr The majority of us already knew this, but a shame that his last game for Arsenal came with the misery of being sacrificed for the dismissed Lehmann against Barcelona.:(
May 25, 200619 yr Yes and Liverpool's Spanish striker Morientes has signed for Valencia for an undisclosed fee,

May 25, 200619 yr Yes and Liverpool's Spanish striker Morientes has signed for Valencia for an undisclosed fee, Poor Valencia. ...Pires :(
May 25, 200619 yr Wenger shouldn't do his stupid policy of only offering one year deals to over 30s. Pires has still got two good seasons in him atleast where he would be a great asset to Arsenal. With Rosicky the blow isn't that big, would still have been better with himn there though...
May 26, 200619 yr Pires is a great player and Rosicky isn't exactly brillant and I would have rather have Pires than Rosicky. Great news on the Liverpool front as well....I was over-joyed when when I heard the news yesterday. I'm guessing that Rafa is gonna bring in two strikers which rules out Svehchenko straight away as he's be worth 3 seasons budget. I'm hoping that he goes for Owen and Villa although Rafa will probably go for Kuyt which i'm un-sure about. I know he's a good goalscorer but the Dutch league isn't brillnat and overall he doesn't give much.
