Fleas

Although some years ago I went to a flea circus that was absolutely amazing. We sat around a table to watch, and the fleas were walking

a tightrope wire, and harnessed to a tiny cart, pulling it along, etc.The owner said the flea circus was a dying art as the fleas used were

human fleas which were becoming very difficult to obtain. He showed us his arm, where he had fed his fleas. Nowadays the whole thing

would doubtless be banned on the grounds of cruelty to creatures.

who? what?

Bramley, I'm itching at the thought.

Hyenas but as I don't meet many - house-flies

Ichneumon fly.

(parasitic fly which lays its eggs in caterpillars)

Spam, have you been to New Zealand to see the Giant Weta? I think I would run, considering its size, over half the size of a human hand,

plus feelers.

Do they run quickly, or are they lethargic?

And they serve it up in restaurants ! Ugh!

Praying Mantis During mating the female kills the male. When copulation begins, she will often bite off his head and begin feeding on it.

The headless male will continue his copulatory movements. Sexual cannibalism !!!!!!!!

And we think some human activities are bizarre !
