Red deer are so much more imposing than fallow deer....we have both in a park near us. But nothing beats a wild, full-antlered

stag, especially when on high ground keeping watch.

Squirrel...........did you see the red ones in the Lake District, BT, or were they hibernating? We have grey ones in the garden sometimes.

Not this time but my impression is that the population is slowly increasing. I saw more in 2008, the few times I was there than previously. They were definitely around this time because we saw evidence of very fresh digging.

Tapir - now there's a strange animal. I was fascinated the first time I saw one (in captivity)

OMG well done Bramley!! :o ...i would've NEVER of got that 1!

Damson? Dun? Duckegg blue? I think the first two are accepted colours, but not often heard of.

I'm sure damson was an accepted colour as well as a fruit, some years ago.

Have you got an 'e', please, Bramley?

Emerald Green(does this count)?

I'm sure Darius' fav colour is Red isn't it??
