He suits lighter colours too.

Yes, I think despite his workload, he's looking very healthy.

What did you think of the new "svelte" show, megham? Did the audience seem to like it?

They did. The second part of the lullaby when Bonnie has died has been cut down so much it's lost all it's impact. That's the only major complaint I've got. It's gone from wanting to cry with him to whoosh - let's move on. They've kept bits that just don't matter though. I'm glad a lot of the narrative has gone and a lot of the pulling the supposed horse drawn carriage arfound. It's always been good and we've gained somethings and lost one very important piece.

Have any of the characters been lost? It must've been hard for Sir Trevor and Margaret Martin to cut so much and still try to be fair to all of the actors.

editing - I seem to have lost control of both the space bar and the shift key on this keyboard tonight.

I've decided I'm never going to hit the right keys, so I just live with it. Ashley's song went and one of Scarlet's and bit's of everyone else's.
I suppose the second lullaby is nowjust meant to show he's trying to sing it for her but can't and breaks down.
its such a shame, but perhaps for the best..I cant see Darius lasting out for weeks crying like he was when we saw the show - I thought there were plenty of bits they could cut apart form Dairus' scenese - but as said it must be hard not chopping down actors parts so much that it causes upset..I read that some guy who was to be in Zorro pulled out due to his part being cut down so much, it must be a balancing act.
This bit is just too central to cut for the sake of less tthan a minute. And they've put Scarlett running around in circles back - which means very little as they never mention her nightmares.
The point of that in the movie is that she finally realises what/whom she has been desperately trying to reach in her recurring nightmares. Without the earlier scene it makes little sense.
Really, really good show today. It's changed again. I'd have a shock if I saw one the same as the time before. When Uncle Peter says it's all change again, I know exactly what he means.

I can't believe that. I hope they're only subtle cosmetic changes.

I can't imagine what it must be like for the cast. They expect to have to make changes during previews and perhaps a few tweaks after press night for a week or so, but it's now 6 weeks including previews they've been coping with slightly different shows.

I suppose it's the Nunn effect - the man's so creative, he probably wakes up every morning with a new vision he'd like to see for real and some will be so effective he'll incorporate them.

Left to his own devices and with a recording studio to try things out in, I could see Darius being pretty much like that with his album, never ready to say, "That's as good as it's going to get. I'm really proud of that."

One of the 'crew' was sitting watching writing notes - maybe we'll see it change again. Maybe the people goiung this weekend will see a difference.

Pic from Wednesday.

Can't blame him wanting to get into contemporary attire. He must be roasting in those costumes. At least he doesn't have to wear wigs like poor Jill.

So many of them. You see young pretty girls and young good looking men outside in casual dress and they are sometimes hard to pin to the role they are playing.

I wish Darius COULD take of his moustache sometimes though.

Id like to see his hair more like the GWTW banner with jill, more ruffled, its too greased down.
