She joined forces with composer Will Gregory in the late 1990s to create her own moody, sensual version of contemporary electronica. With a succession of critically lauded albums, the duo honed their approach and utilised an assortment of influences ranging from traditional soundtrack themes and vintage pop to '80s synth sounds, disco, and glam rock to create one of the most intriguing and satisfying electronica hybrids to emerge from the genre since its inception. - HMV Best video EVER: So93Iny2HWI Where do you think the second single from Seventh tree will peak?
April 6, 200817 yr It might be my current Personal Chart #1 but sadly I reckon it will peak at circa #27.
April 6, 200817 yr i want to say top 10 cos io absolutely love this to bits, but it will be lucky to get top 30 imo, but ive gone for top 20 just in the hope it can get a good entry brilliant video too, i love A&E so much still and this one is so good!!!
April 6, 200817 yr I will go for top 15, considering the amazing A&E only managed #10... Almost exactly my thoughts, except that I will say T20 rather than T15. I just hope they've learned their lesson though, and the next album will revert to the electronica they do so well...
April 8, 200817 yr Almost exactly my thoughts, except that I will say T20 rather than T15. I just hope they've learned their lesson though, and the next album will revert to the electronica they do so well... To be fair though, this is in the same vein as the sort of stuff they were doing on their debut album, and the album is doing pretty well for them thus far. Having said that, I do prefer the electronica side to them (particularly Black Cherry which made me a fan in the first place), but I still think they're marvellous whichever style they do.
