Oooo! thanks, I wonder if that's why he's been spotted in Manchester then? ;) If it's true I'll be fighting for tickets. :arrr:

The Vortex

17 January 2007 to 03 March 2007

Royal Exchange Theatre

by Noel Coward

directed by Jo Combes

designed by Lez Brotherston

sound by Gerry Marsden

'One gets carried away by glamour, and personality, and magnetism - they're such beastly treacherous things'

England in the 1920s - the post-War party is in full swing, the English are living life to the full and the enchanting if middle-aged Florence remains a sparkling beauty on the fashionable scene. When her son Nicky returns from Paris with a secret, the veneer of charm and decadence begins to disintegrate as guilty truths are confronted...

THE VORTEX created a notorious sensation when premiered in 1924 with its brave depiction of the darkness behind the dazzle of the Bright Young Things. Noel Coward's career was launched by this compelling, stylish story of the jazz generation dancing its way into a whirlwind of deisre and deceit.

The Theatre performance times

Monday to Friday evening: 7.30pm

Saturday evening: 8.00pm

Wednesday matinee: 2.30pm

Saturday matinee: 4.00pm

There's no cast list so it could all be a rumour that Will is doing this, I'm sure we'll hear soon enough if it's true. :D

No more info on this yet? I've not been online today, I thought somebody would have fished a bit more info out by now, I mean it's been nearly 24hrs since we first heard.

Exactly, we need to sort this lack of effort out before the tour starts. http://www.clipart.co.uk/clipart/mazeguy/outfitted/detective.gif

 SIO lower key was awesome - what a fantastic hour - really well edited too. Can't wait for September

Hope Will really is taking to the stage in Manchester as quite a few fans have already bought tickets.

Editing to say I have just read on Devoted that he auditioned on Saturday but it hasn't been confirmed that he has the part.

At least we now know what he was doing in Manchester at the weekend. :P

I'd like to go but I'm not a huge fan of Noel Coward - bit like the Agatha Christie books - very much of their time and sometimes boring - but if he is confirmed I'd like to see how he shapes up on live stage. Manchester is over two hours away from me so I'll bide my time. My birthday is in January so it would be a treat.

I'm going to do the same. Just hope I can get a ticket when & if he is confirmed. ;)
