June 15, 200619 yr Yes I did chrysalis and I always skip track 6 as well, I hate it and I didn't like the way they'd messed up Sweetest Feeling on the single cd either so I've not played it since, it's a part of Will's first year ruined for me by having to go through with that duet, even Will said it was a big mistake. Can't bear to listen to it either. In fact it's the only Will single I don't own. :( Would have bought it if Sweetest Feeling had been better produced. The only plus side for me was the live performances really showed which Pop Idol contestant could sing.
June 16, 200619 yr I only very recently discovered Cry - take control and down, I cant stop playing them :yahoo: dont ask me which is my favorite  love them all at the moment
June 21, 200619 yr Author What a busy day I had yesterday, you just wouldn't believe  I didn't have the time to come on here last night either, England duty etc, how are we all? it's very quiet on the Will front, I'll go and have a scout around and see if I can find some Will news. ;)
June 21, 200619 yr I only very recently discovered Cry - take control and down, I cant stop playing them :yahoo: dont ask me which is my favorite  love them all at the moment  When he gave us these two as 'B' sides I couldn't believe they didn't make the album. I often wonder how many more 'stonkers' are left to gather dust. The same with Easy and My Needs - *shakes head in dismay*

The same with Easy and My Needs - *shakes head in dismay* I agree, Easy or My Needs are way better than Save Yourself and they are both too good to have ended up as b-sides imo.
June 21, 200619 yr Absolutely adore Cry and Down. Never been too certain about Take Control, My Needs and Easy - probably 'cos I haven't played them as much as the others.
June 21, 200619 yr Isn't is strange that our favourites are very often Will's too. I wonder whether he gets 'talked into' putting some tracks on by Steve L because they are maybe his favourites. I think Will has a far better instinct for what's right with a song. I recall him saying that he very often chooses what he likes rather than what is commercial. I know SIO wasn't a huge seller but in terms of succes it was spot on because it got people talking and sold the album. I think the sales he is getting at the moment are maybe those fans who weren't happy with SIO but have since discovered what a great album, over-all, KO is. He certainly christened it well P.S. Just a little snippet from Heat - Spotted: Will Young in a jaunty brown hat chatting to passengers and signing autographs on a train from London to Manchester. Edited June 21, 200619 yr by munchkin

June 21, 200619 yr Author if i saw him i would never think of approaching him  infact i would proberly pretend i didnt even know who he was  I'm afraid I'd pretend there was an imaginary lurch of the train and accidentally fall on top off him, grabbing a good handful of flesh as I was disentangling myself from him, apologizing profusely of course. ;)
June 23, 200619 yr Posted by Hopeless on Devoted: Interesting snippet, my friend was listening to a radio programme the other day and the guy was asking SW if he'd had any good advice from anyone, and Shayne said yes I had some from "the master" the guy said and who's that, Shayne replied "you know the bloke that won Pop Idol". It seems Shayne has an opinion after all - he could do a lot worse than aspire to be like Will. Don't think Louis W would be too pleased with that answer though
