April 10, 200817 yr WILL YOUNG CONFIRMED FOR BESTIVAL Pop sensation Will Young will perform at this year's award winning Isle of Wight Bestival. Organisers have confirmed the former Pop Idol winner has visited the event on three previous occasions and really enjoyed it. He'll perform an acoustic set as part of a four-piece band. A spokesman says they're "delighted with the news". He's expected to play his popular hits along with some eclectic numbers on Saturday the 6th of September on the Band Stand stage. I would think that he would have been spotted if he had been there and there was nothing, absolutely nothing in the supplements which are published after the event. He told me he hadn't visited the Island before!

With the amount of flack that's been thrown at him over the last 6 years, he's certainly served a very hard apprenticeship and deserves every bit of the recognition of being credible. September 4, 200816 yr Am I right in thinking Bestival is on tv? :unsure: It was mentioned in the media update from the o/s On TV 5th September – Transmission, Channel 4 6th September – Bestival, Channel 4 so we should at least get to see one performance :D
