I was impressed by how D's voice had deepened.....due, said he, to smoking cigars.

That might be why he struggled with one of the high notes in the first half. I hope he doesn't next time I go :(

Brilliant! Darius has the accent jsut right! and deeper than expected, glad to hear he was only trying the cigars and chewing..said it was a filthy habit - quite right!

oh no, what a shame! are you sure you cant download the 4od? my pc threw up a couple of things in pop up windows saying did I have permissions set and something else later about application not started..i just clicked ignore, but it downloaded ok

Without it he wouldn't have done Chicago etc and wouldn't have been contacted to do the 10th and met up again with Gareth valentine who asked him to audition for Trevor for the role of Rhett.

fate is a funny thing, I am hoping he gets seen in this role and is seen as a possible for other roles -

oh and I loved the glimpse of hairy chest on POG - if anyone thought for real he was going ot shave, or was wearing a chest wig.. :lol: :lol:

I so want Darius to be successful and happy but I've always had a sinking feeling that we would lose him to the States and possibly lose his music, if he was tempted by a TV series or several films.

 

I think GWTW in one way has delayed that scenario but in another, has raised his profile and could hasten it immediately after he leaves GWTW, if that means any sense.

 

If that is what is to be then so be it but I'd really really like the 3rd album first.

Great. I WONT have to kill my huisband after all. He'd be quite difficult to replace actually. He is very grateful that he wont have to record TCM. The number of times I've ever exploded can be counted on one hand,. Maybe I should get him more used to it.

It turns out I'll be able to see the TCM documentary after all. The trip's off because of a family crisis - not mine this time!
